i am new to this so does anyone have any advice on how i can get into spiritual practice

What Spiritual Practice are you referring to? Religion, beliefs or just something to integrate into your life?

Find out where your nearest Spiritualist Church is and when they hold their "Open Circle". Go along and hopefully you will be welcomed in to a warm and friendly environment, then the learning begins.

I have to agree with Robin.
1st you need to realize where you are on the path in order to figure out where you are going. There are many crossroads on our journeys.
Knowing which ones to take is the tricky part :D
